Fliers and signs

**(Use this thread to get good, concise information about Scientology that the public should know about! If you think you're a good postard, cook us up a good flier so we can take it to kinkos and make some epic win)**

Hello again Renofags!

On the subject of signs and posters, I was thinking about going to get some fliers out to the public before and during the protest.

Of course, the ones before the protest (perhaps on the week before) could be posted around the northern nevada area to gather attention and possibly other anonymous to members. Websites and mentions of free cake should be used.

During the protest we ought to give out full page (or half page if the font is readable) information on operation freakout, operation snow white, Scientology's policies like disconnection and fair game, and of course the victims of Scientology (if there's room, more than just Lisa McPherson)

There should also be a flier about how to join anonymous in great justice for epic legendary win.

On the topic of signs, Try to make them before you get to the picket site. Make them Big, make them concise. It's hard for someone to read "Operation snowwhite: An operation began by scientology to infiltrate government bodies and purge important information about scientology. 5000 scifags...." when they're walking or driving by.

Some suggestions: PVC pipe makes a good, alternative to wood to mount your signs on. Office depot has some good poster board, or poster paper. there are also a ton of picket sign tutorials on the web. If you plan on using cardboard, try to get some with one side already painted white or paste some paper on the front and use a big, big marker.

A final note! Remember anonfags, the fight is not against scientologists, it's against scientology. This is just like the internet: It's Serious Business.

TL-DR

I was wondering, should we post in here what we are going to write on our sign? That way, none of us have the same. Or should we just bring them and say oh well. I was thinking of having my sign deal with the theme of disconnection. Or how $cilons break up families.

Thoughts?

It's a pretty good idea to list what we'll have on signs.

I'm probably going to bring the one I used at the last protest out of laziness and reusability. Listing how much Scientology costs, etc.

Should prove useful here as well unless we're going to absolutely stick with the disassociatiation theme.

I'll be bringing a couple big pieces of cardboard to make signs on, like I did last time.

I'm probably going to stick with my "Why has Scientology stolen your cross?" sign.

yea my buddy and i are gonna have to use those cuz we havent got any money to buy signs.

"BRING LISA MCPHERSON JUSTICE"

I'm sure you can guess the reference, but I don't know if it would be considered inappropriate for some (even though it's a very honest sentiment.)

thats what mine said last time (roughly). i think we should focus on the "reconnect" part of the protest personally

If possible, i think it'd be a good idea to print on both sides of your sign (if it has two printable sides) On one, put your own message. On the other put something relevant to Operation Reconnect.

I also plan to print fliers/business cards (Youfoundthecard.com) from my super secret place of employment.

I've been bringing cardboard to the protests for people to write on, but I just need to let everyone know that this is my last weekend at the job that was supplying me with those, so someone will have to take over for me. Maybe with real poster board! At least until I get another job.

If anyone works at a bakery, or department store, I was using the big sheets of cardboard that go in between sheets of cake. See if you can get em, they work wonders.

I brought a bunch of cardboard to 3/15, and it wasn't too much trouble for me. Can easily do it again.
